All Purpose Beef Hay & Pasture Mix:

One may prefer the first cutting to be harvested mechanically and pasture thereafter. Once established this mix will provide high quality pasture throughout the growing season. It is widely adapted to most soil types.

A widely adapted mix of drought tolerant cool season grasses that will extend yields. Known for quality and longevity, this high tonnage mix will not disappoint.

 40% Pubescent Wheatgrass
25% Crested Wheatgrass
15% Meadow Brome
10% Forage Tall Fescue
10% Annual Ryegrass

Bigger Beef Hay & Pasture Mix:

(15#/Acre) Spring/Fall Seeding Depth: 1/4″
Bigger diversity, bigger yields, bigger rewards. A great combination of grass and legumes that will work for a broad range of field conditions.

15% Forage Tall Fescue

Beefcake Hay & Pasture Mix:

(15#/Acre) Spring/Fall Seeding Depth: 1/4″
This Mixture represents an economical means of establishing high quality forage. We can expect two cuttings per season along with a graze. It is adapted to somewhat heavy as well as lighter soils.

 40% Creeping Alfalfa
20% Pubescent Wheatgrass
20% Crested Wheatgrass
10% Meadow Brome
10% Annual Ryegrass

Northern Pasture Mix:

(15#-Acre) Spring/Fall Seeding Depth: 1/4″
A hearty cold tolerant forage mix that is designed to withstand the northern challenges as well as perform with a high production high quality forage product.

50% Alfalfa
20% Orchardgrass
15% Alsike Clover
10% Timothy
5% Birdsfoot Trefoil

Legume Hay Mix:

(15#/Acre) Spring/Fall Seeding Depth: 1/4″
A perfect combination of small seeded legumes with a touch of high quality timothy grass. Great for hay production.

20% Timothy
10% Alsike Clover

Salt Area Mix:

(15-25#/Acre) Spring/Fall Seeding Depth: 1/4″
Offers producers and land owners a new option for pasture and hay. Designed to maximize forage production in troubled areas. Also a good all purpose mix in troubled areas.

(Green Wheatgrass)
20% Western Wheatgrass
20% Intermediate Wheatgrass
20% Smooth Brome
20% Slender Wheatgrass

Northland Waterway Hay Mix:

(25#/Acre) All Season Seeding Depth: 1/4″
A quick durable cover that establishes fast and stands the test of time. Great for use along draws where water may flow. Designed to curb erosion and attain a highly palatable forage.

30% Brome
30% Tall Fescue
25% Perennial Ryegrass
15% Timothy

 

Premium Horse Hay & Pasture Mix:

(25-30#/Acre) Spring/Fall Seeding Depth: 1/4″
This mixture is adapted to most soil types, but it should do especially well on medium to somewhat lighter soil types. By using these four species the season is extended from very early in the spring to well into the fall season.

 40% Orchardgrass
25% Perennial Ryegrass
20% Timothy
15% Forage Kentucky Bluegrass

Horseshoe Hay & Pasture Mix:

(25-30#/Acre) Spring/Fall Seeding Depth: 1/4″
This mixture is adapted to most soil types but it can do especially well on lighter soils under normal climatic conditions. You can salvage 2-3 cuttings of prime horse hay.

 40% Pubescent Wheatgrass
25% Crested Wheatgrass
15% Meadow Brome
10% Tall Fescue
10% Annual Ryegrass
